Book description
This is volume two of the two-volume paperback anthology edited by Brooks, Lewis, and Warren. Volume I has a green cover and is titled American Literature: The Makers and the Making Volume I: Beginnings to 1861. Volume II has a red/orange cover and is called American Literature: The Makers and the Making Volume II: 1861 to the Present. Both volumes were published in 1973 by St. Martin's Press.
