A very quick read of a fun and humorous (sort of!) family. Really, they are both comic characters and archetypes: a self-interested poet who is often lost in the clouds, his wife who makes scathing comments to their live-in maid.

Parts of the story are going to be slightly tragic, but there is just a great tone to this book. Started it last night and am half-way through already. ( )
