I received an advance review copy of this book in return for an honest review. Scarred is a book is about the damage that people can do to each other and how each person deals with it in a different way. It's also about finding the person that can help you heal, in your own way, and begin come back to life. No one can get through life without collecting our own scars on our souls, our minds, and our bodies. Ethan and River are scarred more than most. They've lived through horrific things. One thinks he has become a monster and the other wants and needs to become a monster. They are inexplicably drawn to each other, yet they each could destroy the other. They struggle to fight the darkness within themselves and within each other to find a way to survive. This book will drag your emotions through the wringer. It will open your eyes to things that could bring the monster out in ourselves and make you wonder how you would fare in such a situation. What might you do to survive? What could you do to heal your scars? ( )
