This book is somehow sexually disturbing for the young audience unless someone will guide them on reading materials like this. Moreover, it has the same storyline as S. Meyer's Twilight which disappoints me a lot. Although, it is well-written, the plot is highly predictable. ( )

This book is well-written, but overall, I'm not a huge fan. The theme, subject, and plot are all very similar to the writings of Anne Rice. The Girl I Knew is extremely sexually explicit. I thought the trend of writing about vampires was over, but apparently not! This is a distasteful piece of literature and I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.
