This is an interpreted photograph book of Charlie Russell's paintings and statuary. C.M. "Charlie" Russell was a western artist extraordinaire. In this book, Russell's paintings depict critical events in the life of the Corps of Discovery. Examples include Sacajawea's meeting with Cameahwait, her Shoshone brother. Each image depicts one of Russell's works and is thoroughly interpreted with title, date and other explanatory information. It's a great reference for Lewis and Clark enthusiasts as well as fans of Charlie Russell. ( )
