I thought this was a good book for children. One thing I liked about the book was the pictures. The pictures were real life pictures and they also had arrows to direct the reader on how to move when doing certain stretches or gymnastics moves. For example, when showing the reader how to do jumping jacks when stretching, the pictures directed the reader on how to move their arms and legs. Secondly I liked the similes used while describing certain gymnastics moves. For example, when teaching the reader how to leap it states “We can leap like frogs.” The main theme of this book is to teach young readers about gymnastics. ( )
