FOUR & A HALF STARS--Ah...can you smell that? It's the smell of young love, written oh so right.

It's a excellent story, low angst (there's a scene with gay bashing and alludes prior to Malcolm meeting Wes) and smexy scenes (Malcolm & Wes are 18 and 24 years old respectively, so a lot of sexing is to be expected. Hell I'm surprised they aren't going at it again as I type.)

I loved Wes and Malcolm's love. The freshness and newness of it all. The silly poetry, glances, the come hither stares, the easy jealousy of anything disrupting the 'couple' time. The author was spot on. And for the characters, the entire story felt realistic, not staged.

This is a great example of a M/M romance for newbies to the genre. ( )
