compilation of a bunch of different powerful female superheroes. gets your feet wet with black widow, she-hulk, captain marvel, ms. marvel, thor, and the unbeatable squirrel girl (all the first comics of their respective series). awesome.

This collection contains the #1 issues from various female-fronted avengers comics. I'd read Ms Marvel before, and enjoyed it enough to read the next few issues. I'd never even heard of Squirrel Girl, but found her story light and fun. I enjoyed She-Hulk and Captain Marvel enough that I'm ordering the next few issues. The only one I didn't enjoy as much was Thor, despite the fact that it was the one I was most intrigued by. First of all, this first issue barely has her in it. It's all about the god of thunder being a cry-baby.

Great way to explore some new-t0-me comics. (
