This is a supportive review of the book. If you are a stubborn skeptic who makes frun of anything against your world-view then read no further. For those who are curious about life after death, this is for you!

I was *very* pleased with Destiny of Souls. I was blown away by Dr. Newton's previous book Journey of Souls. I figured that "Destiny" would be more of the same but I was wrong. Instead, it's a clarification and expansion of the ideas presented in Journey. And like a movie sequel - this one had more surprises, touched upon previous ideas and yet brought them into different directions, and was "bigger" in size and scope. Like a "part 2", it's better understood if you read the first one and yet this one also stands on its own.

Why do I love this series? It's spirituality without the jargon. It presents a hopeful view on "why we are here". And of course, it assumes our Souls don't die. Regarding the latter, when our bodies die, I assumed that if we do live, we are shadow versions of ourselves just holed up in a big ol' room. This is not the case as per Michael Newton!

I don't want to spoil the plot but the gist is that when we die, our Soul lives on. And our Soul isn't our present "self" but an eternal Self that lives thousands of years on earth in *different* bodies possessing *different* personalities in varying life conditions and challenges. Souls are unique individuals with specific energetic characteristics/signatures and the lives help Souls grow. Our lives after our deaths are also varied and exciting - we review our lives in a number of settings, we have close friends who are supportive and caring beyond an Earthly understanding, we support those we left behind on earth, we travel, and we learn and then specialize in pursuits.

Action, adventure, sci fi, and spirituality - if you love these then give Destiny of Souls a read! ( )

Well written follow-up to Journey of Souls, this book is essential for anyone looking to explore the between-life state. Really fascinating, and many people I've recommended both books to who are intuitive found them validating much of what they've felt or seen on their own. ( )
