Been playing the game for a couple of months now. I'm trying to follow the guide when I need to, but overall I rarely use it. It doesn't tell you how to defeat normal or rare monsters, or even how to make them appear. Every strategy for the bosses is more or less the same. The guide is good if you are just looking for a straight-through guide that gets you from storypoint A to storypoint B, occasionally mentioning side quests C or D. Not very detailed, and internet sites such as Gamefaqs are much better. ( )

If you've ever played a Final Fantasy game you know you need the strategy guide to get the good stuff in the game, but this gaming guide sucks, its badly organized so you can't find stuff and if you're having trouble with a certain enemy you can bet that it won't be in the bestiary. any extra stuff that you can do in a certain area is not in the guide in a spot that would be a natural place to look for it. I gave it three stars because even though it isn't a very good guide its better than nothing ( )
