In which: Daisy and Susan try to convince Esther to return to school after her spectacular flame-out in the previous chapter; Daisy, Susan and Esther attempt to secure lodgings for the coming term; Esther makes a movie, and Susan and Daisy make one too (because really, how hard can it be?); and Esther looks for a job while Daisy escorts hapless would-be university students around on a campus tour and Susan meets the least dateable men in the known universe, through Tinder. Sounds like the life of 20-somethings to me! If this is how millennials are living for realz, perhaps things aren't as hopeless as I feared. ( )

Daisy and Susan visit Esther over Easter break and convince her to come back to University (where they must look for second year housing); Esther meets a boy who makes films while Daisy and Susan decide to produce their own film to see if they can win the prize themselves; Susan goes on some lousy first dates while McGraw moves on; Daisy volunteers as a tourguide and meets Ingrid; Esther looks for a job. This didn't have the pizzazz of the earlier volumes, but I'm not giving up on my girls just yet. ( )
