Author evokes a strong connectedness with the main character, Jeff. 13-year-old Jeff was kidnapped from a roadside rest stop, and spent two and a half years locked in a dark basement. I would say, definitely. This book is good for just a fun read or for a project. It's got twists and it's very interesting. You always think about what might happen next! I do recommend this book to anyone who considers reading it. (
