Felix von Bassenow's homecoming after a long trip through southern Europe is the event that sets Harmony in motion and leads to a series of sordid events. In the suffocating atmosphere of the Bassenow castle at the turn of the century, Felix reunites with his extravagant and sickly wife and allows himself to be seduced by young Mila as he witnesses the crumbling of his atavistic convictions. (more)
