The Dominion war is not going well with the Federation in desperate straights as their fleets are destroyed by Jem'Hadar battle fleets but the Dominion has it's own problems with the Terok Nor wormhole blockaded by a Federation minefield cutting off their resupply routes. But the changelings have a surprise up their, err, sleeves; an artificial wormhole. Can Picard and his scratch crew of Bajorans, Federation crews and other flotsam and jetsam he'd picked up take out the wormhole armed out with little more than a phaser set to overload?

It's Star Trek so you know that the major characters are going to survive but even if you've seen the TV episodes this story is based round, you'll find yourself gasping as the latest catastrophe comes near to finishing off Picard and his scratch crew and cheering them on ( )
