This book is an absolute must if you're interested in the history of French wine. Mister Dion was a geographer and he has hugely interesting things to say about terroir and how it functions. I am amazed that it has not been translated into English and equally amazed that it is no longer available in French. As the title says; It's a history of wine and the vine in France. ( )
