Eh, not the worst book I've read, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped I would. You'd think that a book about a mystery book club that a librarian joins would have my name all over it, right? I thought the plot was a little drawn out, and alternating chapters from two different points of view made the story a bit disjointed. ( )

OK for a first effort

Maybe the best review is to use the author's own words: "I don't know how many times I've read that an author has written a masterpiece, when he's really just written a mediocre story." ( )
