FGMAMTC Blog Review
Clover is a self-sufficient single woman. She has her own home and a booming business. Erick is a single dad with full custody of his teen daughter. He also works for himself. Clover and Erick are physical, labor with their hands and get dirty type of people. He works on houses building additions and such. She deals in plants and flowers. Erick's daughter is employed by Clover and is one of the main relationships in both of their lives. She sees how they look at each other and encourages more.
Her Naughty Holiday is a romance that centers around the US Thanksgiving holiday. If you celebrate it, you know what to expect. Family of course. The dialogue is a hoot in this story. Everyone is a bit of a comedian and sweet underneath with the exception of Clover's family who finally get a super satisfying taste of their own behavior. The storyline is fun and sexy. This read is a perfect break from the pressure of the season. It'll leave you smiling.

Her Naughty Holiday
Men at Work, Book 2

The Characters:

Clover Greene Young, ambitious and way too nice for her own good.
Erick Fields Strong, snarky and kinda sassy.

Ruthie Fields Snarky but observant teenager extraordinaire. She didn’t get a lot of page time but I really loved her character

The Story:

Overall quite enjoyable. Clover and Erick are brought together after checking each other out for a year by the cunning Ruthie. Erick agrees to be Clovers fake boyfriend while her parents are in town for Thanksgiving however it doesn’t take either of them long to figure out that their feelings are real.

I really loved the part where Clover finally told off her nosy, P.I.T.A. family. I’m glad she and Erick found happiness together. I would love to see more of this little family.

I bet that headline got your curiosity going. Since this is a review of a Tiffany Reisz title, the queen of BDSM (ah Soren and Nora, how I miss you so), I thought I should clarify that while this book is definitely sexy, it has nothing to do with BDSM like her extremely popular Original Sinners Series. It will nonetheless feature quite the Thanksgiving spanking. Let your minds run wild with what that could possibly mean. This is a Tiffany Reisz title after all, one of the most clever and gifted writers, I have ever read.

Her Naughty Holiday is the 2nd book in Tiffany Reisz's Men At Work Series. While there are some reoccurring themes in the books in this series, primarily the setting in a remote part of Oregon, and the fact that the heroes in both of the first two books are contractors (this the Men At Work series title), each could easily be read as a standalone. Nonetheless if you haven't yet had a chance to read book 1 (Her Halloween Treat), I highly recommend you do.

Clover Greene is a self-made business woman, much to her family's chagrin. Notwithstanding having dropped out of college, she founded and owns a very successful nursery that is valued in the seven figures. Nonetheless, all her family can focus on is that at thirty she is still unmarried and childless and that she never did get her family degree. So imagine Clover's anxiety at finding out that her entire family is coming to visit for Thanksgiving.

One person who holds Clover in high esteem is her 17 year old employee, Ruthie. Clover also thinks the world of Ruthie, so when one thing leads to another and Clover asks Ruthie's single father (Erick) to play her pretend boyfriend for Thanksgiving (while Ruthie is out of town), Clover begins to worry how Ruthie will take the news--especially when things get pretty heated as Erick and Clover decide to "practice" acting like they are a couple in an attempt to deliver a convincing performance.

Will the performance lead to a real HEA? How will Ruthie take the news? Moreover, can Erick help Clover pull off the impossible: a civil holiday meal get together with a notoriously uncivil family?

Enjoyable as always and complex in nature, Ms. Reisz never disappoints and Her Naughty Holiday is no different. Both from a passion perspective and the interrelationships between and among this diverse cast, Ms Reisz managed to hold my attention throughout. If you're looking for a good romance to warm up your Thanksgiving and put a smile on your face, Her Naughty Holiday may very well be the book you're looking for.

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0373799209, Mass Market Paperback)

A feast she wasn't expecting!

Clover Greene would sooner crawl into her oven than host family for Thanksgiving dinner. Yet another annual ritual of too much food, served with a side of criticism over "Clover's Bad Life Choices." This year, she needs to distract them all—with a handsome fake boyfriend. And she has the perfect guy in mind.

Contractor Erick Fields is the poster boy for sexy single dads, and Clover has been secretly crushing on him for ages. She certainly wasn't expecting Erick to agree to her insane charade…or to add lots of hot, wicked sex to the deal. If they can pull it off, the worst Thanksgiving ever might give them something to be really thankful for!
