Bryn Keller, dancer/photographer, is trying to make ends meet while raising her three young nephews--her brother died a year and a half ago and she is now taking care of the boys. She is offered a job to dance in rock star Lee Condor's newest video. She accepts and they start rehearsals at the old Fulton place (an old deserted house that Lee bought and renovated). Along the way she is asked to take some publicity photos of Lee and his band out on a golf course at some Country Club function. After this the action really starts! Someone keeps phoning and threatening Bryn, breaking into her home, for the photos. Who is it? What's in the photos? This book was really exciting and good. I have to say I loved the hero, he was really hot and sexy. Maybe it was because he was part Native American/Indian, maybe it was how he played the drums. The three young boys were cute and I also liked Bryn. A great older Heather Graham romantic-suspense. Previously released as a Silhouette Intimate Moments romance from 1985. no reviews | add a review

This book was originally published in 1985, and re-released as part of The Harlequin Famous Firsts Collection. It was a very enjoyable romantic suspense story. I loved the premise of working on a music video. Lee was a very sexy rock star hero, of Native American heritage, and he made some lavish music videos. Bryn was a prickly heroine and she was hostile towards Lee a lot which tended to bug me at times, but it did add to the entertainment value of the story. There were a lot of great characters in this book: Lee's charming bandmates; Bryn's three adorable nephews; a sleazy politician; an amiable golfer; Bryn's friend Barbara. I even thought that the hero's name was pretty cool--Lee Condor. An entertaining read from the '80s and a lot of fun, too. ( )
