For some reason it didn't hit home the way the other one did. Perhaps it's because the protagonist in True Love resonated more with me - in publishing, struggles with her weight, has parents who don't understand her, etc. I wasn't as endeared with Kate. Yeah, she has bad luck left and right but she's really smart, knows how to stand up for herself, and has a hot boyfriend. I thought her little clique was annoying - unlike my *own* friends. ( )When Kate decides to attend law school at Tule (New Orleans), she has no idea that she'll end up re-involved with her ex-boyfriend Graham as well as current friend Nick. Nor does she realize that she'll need to re-examine her motivations for becoming a lawyer. So-so. no reviews | add a review
