Knuffle Bunny is fantastic. And I really love the Elephant and Piggy books. ... relating to spring. One poem per page, total of 26 poems. Full page colorful illustrations depict the item or scene.

Of course, they're all in storage right now, so the only book actually in the library on LT is Knuffle Bunny as a wishlist. ... to a children's librarian about books and she said generally storytime is for the kids, but she makes a point to read Knuffle Bunny every once in awhile for the parents.

Mo Willems: Knuffle Bunny, Leonardo the Terrible Monster, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus,
Denise Fleming: In the Small, Small Pond, Time to Sleep, In the Tall, Tall Gra ... ... be excellent choices. A few more recent books:
The Pigeon books (Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, for example), Knuffle Bunny, or Leonardo, the Terrible Monster, all by wonderful writer Mo Willems
Books by Doreen Cronin, esp. Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type, Diary ... ... Moo books and Sandra Boynton (especially Moo, Baa, la la la) along with any Mo Willems (but extra-specially Knuffle Bunny). Because they are all great!)

Rosie ... ... over again, but luckily my son's previous obsessions have been with books I can bear, like Found You, Little Wombat or Knuffle Bunny. The pigeon is wonderful! The Pigeon Finds A Hot Dog is a big hit in our household too, although Knuffle Bunny is even better.
