Fairly good book, overall. The main character, Cricket, *realllllly* annoyed me though. It's one thing to be the teacher's pet and to like being good and setting good examples and such, but the way she always assumes that everyone will love her and see her as a perfect little girl, the way she gets so mad and stunned when anyone doesn't show her special attention... So annoying!
But I liked the way that her and Zoe's friendship slowly blossomed, and I really really liked the ending. (
