Camelot 30 K (original 1993; edition 1993)

A brilliant book. Forward discribes an alien race that is one of the strangest and most imaginative I have ever found in science fiction. I just loved these tiny aliens.

The book reads a bit like a field rapport from a science expedition. That is the way Robert Forward writes. Here it fits the story well and works perfectly.

Highly recommended for lovers of hard science fiction. ( )

Wow. Beg, borrow, or steal a copy of this book and read it. Do not skip ahead -- the surprise ending will blow your mind. One of the most memorable sci-fi books I've ever read. Very original concept. ( )
