These stories were written by teens who were part of a youth journalism progran and chosen with help from Educators for Social Responsiblity, a group of experts in teaching teens about resolving conflicts peacefully. Reading straight through, this book gets a little redundant; most of the stories are about accepting or being accepted by others in spite of your differences, and the style of writing varied little from story to story. While it may be helpful to individual teens who are facing these issues, this book would be more useful in a classroom or group counseling setting. Two or three questions for discussion follow each story. ( )no reviews | add a review
