One of the best Pirkei Avos available for English and Hebrew speakers. This has a good (but not perfect) translation, both idiomatic and also not literal (using midrash and tradition to translate some portions rather than giving the literal translations). The explanations and citations solve many of the questions which immediately come to mind upon reading Pirkei Avos, and are quite clear and comprehensive. Not exclusively for children, this edition can be a useful tool to anyone beginning to learn Pirkei Avos. ( )
