In this book Ben is going on a skiing mission with his friends. He has to go to Colorado to befriend a girl named Jessica whose Dad is evil. He meets her at ski school however his friend Mike catches up with them when they are going into the gondola. This is a problem because Mike knows his real name is Ben Ripley and not Ben Coolman (this is what Jessica knows him as). Also, Jessica starts to like Mike and is not hanging out with Ben. Later, Ben and Erica make Jessica jealous so that she starts to like Ben again. Ben is invited to Jessica's hotel, the Arabelle, he snoops around and places bugs. That night they are listening in on the bugs and nobody has any idea what going to happen so there handler Cyrus gets mad at them. The next day at spy school they get attacked and Ben figures Leo Shang's (Jessica's Dad) plan and they stop it.
This book was pretty good. Normally, in book series the author runs out of ideas by the 4th book but Stuart Gibbs is doing a good job with keeping people entertained. It is definitely a action book and it does a good job with having little bits of action throughout the book so that you don't get bored. I liked that there was a character that had English as a 2nd language and it showed some of the struggles that most people face when they are talking to someone that spoke a different language. I ( )

The students and spies are back this time taking ski lessons to find out why a Chinese businessman/crime lord is in the United States. Ben is the leader this time since someone must get close to the crime lord's daughter but Zoe must rescue him. Alexander is again in the dog house and mayhem ensues when Mike finally realizes the Ben is telling him the truth about Spy School.

I enjoy this series. It is fun and laugh out loud funny! I like how the students all have some skill that can be used by the group. Together they make up one spy but I like watching them work together to win. ( )
