Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0978816714, Hardcover)

A history of the Widmayer family from 1560 in Kuppingen, Wuerttemburg, Germany to the United States at present day. The author recounts his family genealogy in great detail with many photographs of family members past and present. The Widmayer family arrived at the port of Philadelphia in 1826 from the farming community of Strumpfelbach in Wurttemberg, Germany. They quickly made their way up to Manhattan where they established themselves as one of the Upper Ten families of New York society. This research book traces all lines and all in-laws and is meant for study not casual reading.
