My children and I finished reading this book by Tomie dePaola over Christmas 2006. It was a little bit over their heads in parts, but such a wonderful mix of bits for parents and kids to enjoy. Tomie dePaola became our favorite author this summer and so we were very excited to find this new Christmas book by him. It's a collection of short reminiscences of his past Christmases. He's truly a creative and talented artist and writer. ( )
