The survey's content focused on a limited number of indicators, these indicators centered almost exlusivley on child health but included additional items on education, thus covering the mojority of WSC indicators. the survey was national in coverage and provided data at the district level from UNICEF field offices in South Asia, then UNICEF created a standardised tool for measurement and launched MICS.
