The Hotel Window is a fast paced, effortlesssly written novel, which traces exactly how a person's entire life can change in the span of just one day. Vivek is an average software programmer, in the city of Bangalore, which mills with thousands just like him. Hence, he dreams of making it big in his company and gaining a name for himself. Alisha, from Dubai, is the kind of girl who makes men stop mid road and just stare at her. Sid is Vivek's best friend in the same company. How do these three, completely different people's lives collide and merge? Vivek, who has never been in love before, thinks Alisha might just be the one for him, and does everything he never imagined he could ever do, just to get close to her. However before he has a chance to talk to her, she leaves, and he only has one small clue to trace her. Can Vivek ever find Alisha again? What is the air of mystery shrouding Alisha? Does Sid have anything to do with all this? The suspense, pace and overall thrill of the novel keeps the reader out of breath, and just when one mystery seems to have been solved, another question pops up. The author makes sure the book is full of riddles, which makes it a very enjoyable read for anyone who loves to crack codes and mysteries. ( )
