Cuenta la leyenda que la Tabla Esmeralda era una losa sepulcral, cubierta de
inscripciones de la sabiduría antigua, bajo la cual se hallaba el cuerpo intacto
de Hermes Trismegisto. También la Fama Fraternitatis nos describe una placa
de bronce en el templo funerario de C.R.c., cubierta igualmente de fórmulas
de sabiduría universal, bajo la que se encontró el cuerpo intacto de Cristián
Rosacruz. Hermetismo y rosacruz enlazan, así, sus dos tradiciones mistéricas
más allá de la muerte. 0, como dice uno de los Textos de las Pirámides:
