A book about a rabbit in a magic show has the roles reversed when he turns his magician into a rabbit and takes over the show. He soon realizes that he doesn't truly enjoy being the star and makes things right again. The art was fun and colorful in a cartoon style. ( )

A-Ha, a twist! Rabbit Magic is about a magician and his rabbit. This Rabbit, Hoidini, is amazing! He leads all the other magic rabbits in the act, and keeps things running smoothly. One day, Houdini turns his magician owner into a rabbit too! So, for a few months, Houdini the rabbit does a solo act. As time goes on, the rabbit sees that his owner is sad being a rabbit, so he turns him back into a human, and they do magic together as an amazing co-rabbit/human act.
It's a nice picture book about working together and sharing the spotlight. I love the art in this book; it's crisp and clean, fun to watch. Good read-aloud for fun! ( )

A distinctive palette and a large cast of adorable rabbits adorn a lively story told in very few words. When a magic trick goes awry, the magician M. Lapin becomes a sad rabbit while his rabbit assistant, Houdini, becomes the star of the show. After trying increasingly spectacular tricks, Houdini realizes that someone else wants and deserves the spotlight, and in his most amazing trick ever, he restores M. Lapin to his former self. Generosity and teamwork—and of course magic—take center stage in this delightful debut.
