This is a fun read aloud for a bathtime theme and I have been using it in storytime for years. The illustrations are bright, bold, and humorous and the text is just as fun. The refrain repeated through the book is "Bubbles, bubbles in the tubbles, splishy, splashy, splooshy scrubbles. Glimmer, glitter through the air. Bubbles, bubbles everywhere." The silliness of the words is funny to preschoolers as well as catchy. After her bubble bath, the young girl goes to bed. ( )
