Sage Valentine is determined to discover what role a thrill seeking website played in the shocking suicide of her roommate. Organizing her own "abduction" seems the way to go, only things don't go as planned when her hired "rescuer", Bullet Catcher Johnny Christiano, turns out to be more than she can handle.

Light and fun.

Johnny and Sage are great together and they certainly know how to steam up the windows. Sage is intelligent, resourceful and cool under pressure but it takes her too long to figure out who Johnny really is despite the clues staring her in the face. Johnny is sexy and sweet, and if that isn't enough, he can cook too. His family background is intriguing but is, unfortunately, completely under-utilized in the story.

Although icky and disturbing, the concept of a thrill kidnapping site is believable and well done - some women definitely need their heads examined. The villain is super creepy but his identity is too obvious and his motive under-developed.

The writing is good and well-paced although the conflicts are resolved very quickly with no real confrontation. Nevertheless, this series is highly entertaining and I look forward to reading the next book. ( )

This is the first Bullet Catcher paperback I've read and it intrigued me from the start. The notion of getting kidnapped for a thrill seemed unnatural to me, so I had to find out more. Then, Sage really gets into the act just to investigate what really happened to her roommate who supposedly committed suicide. As surprising as this was, the book only gets better with lots of suspense, a few steamy sex scenes, and some cooking thrown in for good measure. I don't think I'll ever look at a cannoli the same again. Ha-ha. A great read! ( )

I am such a fan of Roxanne's and this Bullet Catcher series is wonderful and Take Me Tonight is no exception! If you want hot, steamy, passion, intrigue, and suspense, well this book is for you! This Bullet Catcher is one hot Italian and he's not only handsome, he can cook as well!
