Decent story that moves, but the characters no longer make me want to root for (or hate) them. I'll probably read some more of the books eventually, but I am in no rush. ( )This is the third book in the Amtrak Wars series. I think this is a better book than First Family, which suffered from not having much plot development. This book on the other hand moves the plot along, whilst being interesting. You also get to learn more about the Iron Masters, as well as how dodgy the First Family is. A good read. http://www.stillhq.com/book/Patrick_T... Steve Brickman has even more problems, as he is again out in the world, and Cadillac and Clearwater, two important Mutes, have been taken captive. He must go all Shogun, and attempt to rescue them from the Japanese society that they have been taken too. Japan has reverted to their xenophobic medieval ways, so it will be terribly difficult. http://notfreesf.blogspot.com/2006/12... no reviews | add a review
