( )Age Appropriateness: Late elementary, Middle School, even high school Review: This book is an example of realistic fiction. It presents a depiction of a present day girl, who wrongly interprets what her parents are talking about. This is something that many children do in everyday life. The theme of this book stays constant throughout which is missing the point of what her parents are talking about and this is very relateable to people's lives. Setting: The setting of this story is a little girl's imagination and is determined by how she interpretes what her parents say. The setting does not seem to be very important in this book because the book does not have much of a plot. Rather there are just catchy sayings that could be humorous, but the setting does not have a lot of meaning to the story. Media: Chalk homonyms no reviews | add a review
