This should definitely be read after TEFL, but not immediately after, as To Sail Beyond the Sunset doesn't fill those shoes. But it's a decent book in its own right - and its title is second to none. There is some action in it, but it's buried in windy passages. Not worth a re-read & I only got through it because I'm such a fan of his other works.
