None. A family I nanny for has this book and is amazing. The illustration is outstanding and sends an amazing message on life and beyond. 36 pages The Next Place is a beautifully illustrated book that is wonderful to look at and the text is spare, but, inspiring. It is mostly reminders of a spiritual nature that many people find comforting and reassuring. I would recommend this book for both sudden losses and for prolonged periods of time when friends and family need support while caring for a terminally ill loved one including family, friends and beloved pets. Children would enjoy looking at it on their own or with an older friend/teacher, sibling or other family member. It is very simple and lets the reader have an individual response and doesn't push anyone to take a certain approach to what they feel about the loss and separation. It is not specific to any world religion, as far as I can discern. Beautiful pictures, comforting thoughts, incorrect doctrine. I purchased this book soon after my mother passed away. I wish I was able to share it with her before she died...she would have loved it. I plan to have it read at my funeral. A light of hope and comfort in the darkness when I lost Lee. I return to it again and again. The art work is awe-inspiring. no reviews | add a review
