The Madness of George III by Alan Bennett Untold Stories by Alan Bennett - I'm immersed already in beautiful writing after just one chapter. The print is very small though. ... previous year – they never disappoint. Many of these diary entries have been collected in the volumes Writing Home and Untold Stories, both of which I can highly recommend. The former even contains the journals pertaining to the real Miss Shepherd. He is a treasure. ... Listening to Front Row also reminded me that I hadn't read Alan Bennett's Untold Stories, which I am now reading and listening to the Reith Lectures also persuaded me to read The End of Poverty by Jeffrey Sachs.
