Didn't include the complete text of the Western Rite (which, for a book about the Mass seems a glaring oversight). Also, the sections on vestments, liturgical gear, and architecture would have been a lot better if they had included pictures.

All in all, I feel that someone who is a newcomer to the Mass wouldn't have any better idea of what goes on at Mass having read this book. (
