A great story that appeals to both young and old readers. Children will enjoy the illustrations and the message that they are perfect the way that they are. ( ) The book The Ugly Duckling is a confident building and inspiring book for students to love the beauty they have. A swan that was hatch in a duck nest is verbal branded for being different , as well being belittle for being different. Through time he eventually understand his beauty and learns about his uniqueness .
