I love the concept of this book. It is a novel way to introduce ABCs to kids. What a creative way to not only teach children the alphabet but animals, too. Each letter stands for the name of an animal. But not just any everyday animal. These animals are made up by mixing to animals together, creating a new creature. Like a Toutle. It has a head of a toucan and body of a turtle. Each page also has a couple of lines describing the animals, then asking Which two animals could I be?

My kids had fun guessing the animals, making the sounds and just being silly. This book is delightfully illustrated, making it even more fun to read. Not only did it make learning the alphabet fun for my children but they have actually remembered their ABCs. ( )
