This collection of baseball writing and baseball art is a compelling trip through baseball. With snippets of writing from those as diverse as Philip Roth and Billy Sunday to Roger Angell, the game's poet laureate, there's a little something for everyone who loves this game.

And the visuals, my god the visuals are amazing. Filled with color illustrations of baseball art, this is a departure from the usual photographic catalog of Hall of Famers. My favorite remains Play Ball by Michael Langenstein.
