A collection of silly poems that run the gamut from absolute nonsense to truly inspiring.

Publisher description: "An illustrated collection of comically irreverent rhyming poems for readers of all ages, ranging in topic from avocados and anacondas to zombies and zebras (dressed like ghosts)"

Most of these poems are pretty funny and can, indeed, be enjoyed by all ages. My top favorites were "Alphabet Book (by the Laziest Artist in the World)" and "Out on the Farm on a Saturday Night". ( )

A collection of funny poems for kids (with the occasionally poignant one thrown in), also enjoyable for adults. I'd recommend this to anyone who has fond memories of chuckling over a Shel Silverstein collection, as this is in the same vein. ( )

Wordplay abounds in I'm Just No Good at Rhyming, author Chris Harris and illustrator Lane Smith's hysterical collection of children's poems in the vein of Shel Silverstein. Great for elementary school age kids to read alone or with parents, who will have a slightly different take on several of the poems. ( )
