This book consists of so many poems for young children. They are all very short, but some are a bit longer. They are all about basic farm animals.
I read this book to my 6-month-old daughter and she seemed to really enjoy the rhyming words! I thought the poems in this book were just too cute!
This book of poems could be read as part of a lesson about farm animals. Or, for older elementary children, I could have each one of them memorize and recite one of the poems out of the book. This book could also help in a lesson over poetry. I could have the students mock their favorite poem in this book and make up their own poem about anything they want.
