I like it because it helps people articulate what it is about them that makes them click with some people and repulsed by others. Read it to learn about yourself. Read it to learn about how you tend to interact and understand others. Then try to grow from that perspective... ( )Either you are, or are not, a believer in Type - there is not much middle ground - but many of the people who are rabidly anti Myers-Briggs, who feel they are labeled or boxed-in by their type, have misunderstood what it is all about. I learned about the MBTI in the mid-80's, and it was very much an 'AHAH!' experience. I think Myers-Briggs typology is an extremely useful tool for dealing with differences in a positive and affirming way. A million and one books (more or less) have been written on Myers-Briggs typology, but "Please Understand Me" is a classic and gives one a good idea of what it's all about. Indispensible. no reviews | add a review
