Yet another fun installment. This story takes a while to warm up to, but it is along the usual lines and there are some really humorous moments. Both are on the hunt for bad people arounf Valentine's Day. I love the ending..it just puts Diesel in the running for her heart, but I am still Team Morelli..no wait I am Team Ranger..no, no, no definately Team Morelli. ok I cant decide. The other-worldly Diesel has a deal for Stephanie. He's holding one of Stephanie's skips, Miss Hart, for the skip's own protection, but the skip is threatening to leave his protection because the aptly named relationship specialist has much work to do before Valentine's Day. If Stephanie will complete Miss Hart's cases while Diesel tracks down the miscreant intent on harming her, Diesel will then turn Miss Hart over to Stephanie.
Meanwhile Stephanie finds evidence that Miss Hart may be innocent of the charges against her of armed robbery and shooting a store owner in the foot.
This isn't a great mystery, but it is chocked full of humor, so it's a fun read. (
