Poison Pen (1992)

Charlotte Kent edits and writes how-to books, and for writers' magazines. She finds a writer dead in the office; he's not liked by most, so there are multiple suspects and motives for murder. He has a fake-y, pretty wife, there's the other writer --the bald guy --a woman critic anc a young would-be writer. Charlotte has a doctor boyfriend, and manages to get her magazine issue re-written in the midst of solving the murder.
