I am currently reading The Chronicles of Narnia, One Door Away from Heaven, and Wicked. It is One Door Away From Heaven. That is one of the few recent Koontz books that I really liked and have read more than once. ... just incase anyone else would like to read, there are the following available:

There are ... Whoops! Morphidae was right! It is One Door Away From Heaven. Who knew Dean Koontz would have more than one thriller about a boy and his dog on the run? It's One Door Away from Heaven. Two of my favorite newer works are Dark Rivers of the Heart and One Door Away from Heaven. "Dark Rivers of the Heart" focuses on corrupt high government officials (one a serial killer) who run amok in the lives of the main characters. Really chilling.
In "One Door Away from Heaven", Koontz ... ... seeing inside her culture (that of a Muslim and Syrian immigrant), since it isn't one I have much experience with.

My first reread of the year. I love this book. Leilani is by far my favorite character, though I have to admit I do like watching C ... I do this with just about every author i read. I read my first Dean Koontz book about 4 years ago, One Door Away from Heaven. I was hooked and went out and bought all his books. Can't say I have liked all his books but he is my favorite author.
