But when his trusted steward's beautiful granddaughter - all grown up and successful in her own right - seems to be using illegal magic in his presence, he is thrown for a loop. And the fact that she's doing so to protect him? Alarming. Samantha Vine needs to stay under the radar, or her secret gift will get her and her granddad killed. This story though gory and grimy was very sweet and romantic. Full of Hungry zombies, Bloodthirsty vampires, and Crazy dragons. There is definitely an insight into the eccentric and egocentric mind of a bloodkin dragon but all in all there is a great HEA.

A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion. ( )

I really enjoyed this novella. Interesting characters in contemporary situations and setting. I hope the characters pop up in future books in the related series. If you enjoyed the other Dragons of Bloodfire books, don't miss this one. ( )
