I am officially hooked onto Pretty Little Liars. this book was a fast read, and full of mystery and action. I could not put the book down and I thoroughly loved every second of when I read this book.

I got this book as an uncorrected proof and even this copy had me hooked and loving every second.

Following the girls as they try to figure out what happened to A, and the typical high school soap opera drama kept me amused and hooked. I would suggested into anyone who wants a fast, addicting read. The novel series is a soap opera for teens and makes you connect with the characters almost immediately.

Sara Shepard did an amazing job. The only reason I did not rate this book 5 stars is because I felt like we didn't get much closer to finding out about A from the beginning to the end. ( )

“There are all these perfect people here. And… It’s like, if you’re not one of them, then you’re messed up. But I think, inside, the flawless-looking people are just as messed up as we are.”

Overall I think the first book was slightly better.
Sadly, there's really not much I can say about this one either (I already watched the first seasons of the TV series, so nothing surprised me that much), but I still enjoyed it finding out this one was a quick read, too! ( )

The story picks up where Pretty Little Liars ended. The girls still have their issues and they are still being contacted by “A”. Who is “A”? We don’t know but A seems to know what everyone is doing and knows everyone’s secrets.
It all began when their friend Alison is found dead, so they know it can’t be her...can it? The whole thing is bringing each girl to her own desperate low, and they can’t figure out reason. They need to do something soon though, before one of the girls really lose it. 3.5 rounded up. ( )

First words
Emily looked at herself in the mirror propped up on Alison's living room coffee table. She tilted her face one way, then another, and puckered her pink lips. "My mom would kill me if she saw me with all this stuff on."

Book description
Spencer stole her sister's boyfriend. Aria is brokenhearted over her English teacher. Emily likes her new friend Maya . . . as much more than a friend. Hanna's obsession with looking flawless is making her sick. And their most horrible secret yet is so scandalous that the truth would ruin them forever.

And why shouldn't I tell? They deserve to lose it all. With every crumpled note, wicked IM, and vindictive text message I send, I'll be taking these pretty little liars down. Trust me, I've got enough dirt to bury them alive.
